The mass death of military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the Northern Military District is buried in mass graves of 100 people each. RIA Novosti writes regarding this with reference to a source.
“The foundation pit for a mass grave is designed for 100 dead, laying out the first and second rows of bodies and remains and then covering them with earth,” said a source familiar with the situation. The interlocutor clarified that there are recommendations according to which reburial from a mass grave can be carried out no earlier than one year from the date of burial.
Earlier, a Ukrainian prisoner of war said that freedom at the front sprinkled bodies of the Ukrainian military. According to him, the command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is in no hurry to evacuate the dead so as not to pay compensation to their relatives.
