CHAUFFOURT
The Triolets choir will not perform in concert this year, the health crisis has greatly disrupted rehearsals for two years. May Maurice Menet and Aude Brisard wanted to do a singing tour on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique.
Wednesday, June 22, a large part of the choristers therefore met at 3 p.m., in front of the town hall of Montigny-le-Roi, to organize carpooling. They first went to Frécourt for a posthumous tribute to one who was one of them.
After having given at 5:15 p.m., a serenade in Dampierre, at 6 p.m., invited by the municipality, the choir settled in the church of Chauffourt for a longer time. A moment frozen to the sound of voices in a place conducive to the clearest notes.
Two interludes created the surprise: Léna Gruca, a beginner pianist, interpreted two pieces. Although the young girl started during the first remote confinement with her teacher, Aude, she seemed calm for her first performance.
And the choir interpreted several pieces for 30 minutes, led by a choir director inhabited by the music.
Then the musicians had fun surprising former singers on Poinson, Odival and Sarrey with their talent, then the finale was played in Montigny, at 9:30 p.m., on Place Verdun.
