In the past, users had to go into each chat to check if they had left incomplete messages – a particularly time-consuming task, especially for anyone who has to manage a large number of conversations. Thanks to this new feature, every WhatsApp chat containing an unsent message will be marked with the“Draft” label. This will give users a way to quickly identify which conversations still need to be completed.

To check if the function is already active on your WhatsApp account, just write a message in any conversation and, without sending it, return to the chat list. If the update has been completed, the draft label will be shown next to the chat with the incomplete message, which can then be reviewed, possibly corrected and subsequently sent.

For now, the innovation is only available to some beta testers who have installed the latest update for Android, but WhatsApp has announced that the improved draft management will be progressively distributed to an ever-increasing number of users in the coming days. Furthermore, we remind you to check the basic requirements of your device: in fact, as already reported in recent days, starting from October WhatsApp it will no longer be usable on these iPhones and Android smartphones.
