Cs we know, the trial in the United States of the former Tunisian jihadist Nizar Trabelsi will begin on Monday 8 May. The defense tried unsuccessfully to delay the start of the trial. The American prosecutor in charge of the case notably pleaded the wishes of the witnesses who will come from Belgium to justify the refusal of a postponement. Two Belgian witnesses have already crossed the Atlantic in April to take part in a “pre-trial”. They will be going back in May.
