On Wednesday, Moscow will host the second court hearing in the civil case on Alisher Usmanov’s divorce from Irina Viner.
The first hearing to consider the issue of the divorce of the billionaire and the head coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team took place a month ago. Then the court session passed without the personal participation of Usmanov and Viner, their interests were represented by lawyers.
Representatives of the businessman petitioned, and the Wiener party supported that the process be conducted in a buried mode. This is necessary to ensure the privacy of celebrities. The court granted this application.
According to lawyers, filing a divorce suit in the case when the couple does not have minor children indicates that one of the parties did not consent to the divorce. According to the file of court cases, Usmanov is listed as the applicant in the divorce case.
As for the division of property, this issue, in case of disagreement, is resolved in the course of a separate legal proceeding.
Alisher Usmanov and Irina Viner have been married since 1992.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, Irina Viner stated that “if everything is quiet and calm, if we agree on everything, then no comment.”
Previously reportedthat billionaire Alisher Usmanov, whose fortune is estimated at $18.4 billion, has filed for divorce from his wife, Irina Viner-Usmanova, who has been the permanent head coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team for many years.
