The drivers of the Mi Bus company maintain the indefinite strike of urban passenger transport in Bariloche which began on Saturday due to the lack of payment of 100% of December salaries and the bonus.

Luis Curilén, union secretary of UTA, confirmed this morning to RÍO NEGRO Diary that the measure of force is maintained this Tuesday because “there is no news” on the payment of owed salaries, despite the fact that yesterday the mayor Walter Cortés announced the transfer of 62 million pesos to the company on account of national subsidies.

The administrative process may take a few hours and it is speculated that during the day the conflict will be resolved with the deposit of the debt to the workers.

My Bus yesterday paid 50% of December salaries that the workers are demanding, but the UTA decided to continue the strike until all salaries for the month and the bonus are paid. In parallel, the municipality requested mandatory conciliationbut the union rejected it.
