From July 16 to 23, the Transmau’ will celebrate its 35th editing. Through this mountain biking event, it is the opportunity to spend a week of vacation in the Vanoise National Park.
The Transmaurienne Vanoise takes place at the gates of the first national park in France and one of the largest preserved areas in Europe. Far from any pollution. Extending over a large part of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise, this haven of peace which celebrates its 60th this year years benefits from an “exceptional setting”. From the top of your bike, it is particularly possible to observe marmots coming out of their hibernation.
The Transmau’ includes three types of routes for different audiences: In Hiking Mode, In Kids Mode, and In Mode Festival, great novelty this summer. Placed at the end of the event, from Friday evening July 21 to Sunday July 23, the latter offers participants a real all-mountain festival. On the program, the possibility of taking five ski lifts and riding freely in the areas of Aussois and Val Cenis. This veritable à la carte weekend also offers a Mountain Bike Show by Vélo Tout Terrain with events and exhibitors; hardware testing; a catering service; concerts ; as well as a film festival with “Tous en Selle! “.
Le Mode Rando is the one that will interest the greatest number to better appreciate the magnificent landscape. Indeed, for this mode there, no stopwatch pressure. Over 1,2,3,4 or 5 days, it’s time to discover the areas. By electric bike on the most beautiful tracks and even with the family, thanks to routes of around twenty kilometers each day as well as the possibility of using the ski lifts. On an evening you can also take a short night hike and discover the Haute Maurienne Vanoise by night.
Finally, children are not left out because the Kids Fashion allows 2-14 year olds to be part of the Transmau’ adventure. With three events – balance bikes, downhill and cross-country – including two registered in the Departmental Trophy for Young Mountain Bikers of Savoie, this mode will allow the little ones to do like the grown-ups and to live a unique experience.
