London: A British tourist collapsed and died following consuming 22 shots of alcohol in an hour and a half. 36-year-old Mark C died following collapsing in a night club in Krakow, Poland. Mark came to Poland with his friend to celebrate the holiday. Both of them entered the club knowing that it was free entry. Both were drunk before and following the club.
Mark refused the club’s alcohol but was forced to drink by the staff. He took two strong shots of alcohol before collapsing. The investigating officers also said that 2,200 Polish zlotys (Rs. 42,816) from the hands of the confused Mark were stolen by the club staff.
Mark’s blood alcohol level was 0.4 percent. Although the incident took place in 2017, the case is being filed now. Polish police charged 58 people in connection with the death. The police also said that no medical help was given to Mark. Police said the cause of death was excessive consumption of alcohol.
