According to the Mirror, a 53-year-old British man, Mark Clowes, was taking care of his drunken 42-year-old girlfriend Clare Bell on the morning of August 9, 2020, when he directly put her into a hot tub. The case went to trial on November 28. Mark was found guilty of gross negligent homicide by the judge and will be sentenced on February 2 next year.
