A minor surgery in the tonsils turned into a catastrophe threatening the life of a Moroccan girl named Salma Al-Yassini. The girl lay for the second week in a row under artificial respiration in intensive care.
Her heart stopped for more than 3 hours
The tragedy began on December 21 in the city of Al-Madiq North, when the little girl entered the operating room, and her heart stopped beating for more than 3 hours, before its beats were restored once more.

Then the child was transferred to the medical resuscitation hall in Tetouan City Hospital, in order to make medical attempts to bring her back to life, amid a state of shock to her parents.
I lost hearing and sight
Medical data indicate that the brain of the child, Salma, may have stopped, amid silence from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the Moroccan government.
According to information revealed by a member of the Moroccan Parliament, the child Salma has lost sight and hearing, with paralysis of movement.
While non-governmental associations specialized in providing financial support for humanitarian cases are making moves to transfer the Moroccan girl to one of the most well-equipped medical centers, with high medical expertise.
