The fundamental problem that was seen by looking directly at the unpleasant slanderous words
“I understand how you feel, but I can’t get through that much, and I’m wondering if I can work as a self-defense officer.
“A guy who makes a lot of noise regarding having his butt or chest touched at a drinking party www.
“Usually, a woman will enter the place of hot-blooded men Think carefully regarding this meaning I can only say that a woman’s outlook is naive Don’t work idiots who can’t think that there will be seven enemies when they go out!”
“Men, women, and gender are the same, so if you touch them back, it’s okay.”
All of these slanderous messages were sent to Rina Gonoi, who accused her of sexual abuse during her time as a Ground Self-Defense Force officer. She quoted a screenshot image posted by Mr. Gonoi himself on Twitter. In addition, there were many insults and unfounded abusive words that hurt individual dignity.
Many people will feel sick and angry just by reading it. I just want you to see this reality. In fact, these slanderous slanders contain many hints when considering the problem of “why can’t harassment stop in Japan no matter how long it takes?”
It has been a long time since the eradication of sexual harassment and power harassment has been called for, but according to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the General Labor Consultation Corner receives 1.3 million consultations a year. According to a Keidanren survey, 40% of member companies said they received more consultations regarding power harassment than they did five years ago.
In other words, there is no end to the number of people who say, “It’s not allowed” or “It’s no longer that kind of era,” but behind the scenes they bully subordinates and juniors and sexually harass women. However, this is the reality of “Japan, a beautiful country.”
Why is this happening? Personally, I think it’s because there are quite a few Japanese people who think like the slander I mentioned earlier. This way of thinking can be summarized as follows.
“Don’t make a fuss regarding it because you’ve just had a bad experience. If you can’t get over this kind of hardship, you won’t be able to become a full-fledged member of society.”
