Paris, a hot destination
For its part, Liligo observes a rebound in searches compared to the two weeks preceding the dates of the event. “There is a multiplication of searches by 2.3 to Paris from the end of May to the beginning of June, compared to the two weeks before”, explains Kenza Jelloul, brand manager for the site. Beyond the sports tournament, this time of year always attracts many tourists to Paris, particularly thanks to the summer temperatures and the festivities. “We know that it’s an event that attracts a lot of people, but overall, Paris is quite popular and very popular,” she continues at the microphone of Europe 1.
But like other sectors, air travel is not immune to inflation. To go to Paris and attend Roland-Garros for example, you will have to pay more than last year, at the same time. On the Kayak flight comparator site, prices are up 21%.
