From May 2, AIDES Toulouse is launching the Lounge, a new community and multidisciplinary offer for prevention, risk reduction and referral to care, in sexual health and mental well-being, dedicated to chemsexers or men who have sex with other men and who use drugs. The Toulouse Lounge is an innovative program benefiting from funding by the Occitanie Regional Health Agency and an entry on the regional Addictions roadmap, making it possible to offer, in a location outside Caarud (Reception and harm reduction support for drug users), a warm, non-judgmental and benevolent environment, individual and/or collective support and a comprehensive offer in sexual and/or psychological health. On the program: rapid HIV and hepatitis screening, Prep prescriptions and STI treatments as well as HAV, HBV and HPV vaccines. The Lounge also offers discussion groups between peers and a free consultation offer in psychology, addiction, sex and general medicine. Finally, the Toulouse Lounge is also the place to quickly analyze psychoactive products by infrared spectrometry and recover single-use consumables.
