The non-profit foundation “Juntos Somos Más Anzoátegui” celebrated its fifth anniversary on Saturday, July 20, on Isla Borracha, located in Pozuelos Bay, Anzoátegui state.
The president of the organization, Eliézer Hernández, commented that “the sun, the sea, and the warmth of the island’s inhabitants made the day magical.”
She said that 200 people received food, clothing and toys. In addition, the community received a general and pediatric medical evaluation.
He said that “five years is easy to say, but they have been wonderful years in which we have traveled to many areas, shared with many people. We have brought joy and embraced our neighbors. We also listen to their needs, that is why we are not only a foundation, we are young people dedicated to blessing the most vulnerable.”
He added that the social work they did to celebrate their five years was thanks to the many donations from volunteers, allies and citizens from other parts of the country who collaborate with the good cause.
Hernández highlighted that other organizations and entrepreneurs in the area participated in the activity.
The leader of the foundation expressed that “the great team of the Juntos Somos Más Anzoátegui foundation continues to provide hope, love and enthusiasm to the most vulnerable population of the state of Anzoátegui”
