The TNM forced to cancel all its performances of the Robert Lepage show

After canceling the first three performances of the show “The Seven Branches of the Ōta River”, the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (TNM) announced on Tuesday that all performances of Robert Lepage’s show were canceled due to the fire. which broke out last Thursday in the Montreal institution.

“After a thorough inspection of the premises and because of the complex operations required to clean the hall and the technical equipment, it is with immense disappointment that the management of the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, Ex machina and Robert Lepage are forced to cancel all of the performances scheduled for Montreal today,” wrote the TNM on its Facebook page.

The TNM and the Ex Machina company say they are currently collaborating to allow the presentation of the show.

Ticket holders will be contacted shortly to be informed of the cancellation terms.

Spectators will nevertheless be able to see “The Seven Branches of the Ōta River” at the Diamant de Québec on September 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25, then at the Center Culturel de l’Université de Sherbrooke on October 2.
