The officers of the investigation unit of the Sinbillawain Police Station in Dakahlia Governorate, arrested a father, after a link to torture his daughter for several days, which ended with the end of her life, due to his suspicion of her behavior, and some rumors circulated about her by the people of the village.
Major General Marwan Habib, Director of Dakahlia Security, had received a notification from Major General Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of Criminal Investigation, stating that a report had been received by Colonel Ahmed Al-Jumaily, the warden of the Sinbillawin Police Station, with a report from the people of Issa Hamdy’s isolation in Kafr Shabrahour, affiliated with the Sinbillawin Center, about hearing the continuous screams of an elderly woman accusing Her son killed her granddaughter.
The officers of the investigation unit of the Sinbillawain Police Station moved to the location of the report, and the lifeless body of a 14-year-old girl named “Haneen. M.A.” was found, with signs of beating, torture and burns on his body. The body was transferred to the morgue of the International Hospital in Mansoura.
The procedures were codified. The accused was arrested and detained. His name is “Ibrahim A.A.M.” 48 years old, who admitted in the report the incident in order to discipline his daughter for doubting her behavior and spreading rumors about her in the village.
By asking the girl’s grandmother, she supported the content of the resources of the accused, and added that the girl was living with her father and her older sister, who got married some time ago, after the mother separated from them and married another person.
The necessary record of the incident was released, and the Public Prosecution office was notified of the incident, which initiated investigations.
