Al-Marsad Newspaper: A consultant cardiologist, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, revealed a case in which a diabetic must break the fast immediately.
Al-Nimr said, in a tweet via his account on “Twitter”: “A patient with heart and diabetes felt dizziness ten minutes before the Maghrib call to prayer. concentrated”.
He explained: “The witness… If the sugar drops below 70, he breaks the fast, even if there is only one minute left for the call to prayer.”
A heart and diabetic patient felt dizzy ten minutes before the Maghrib call to prayer..he measured the sugar..he found it was 50 mg/dL, but he did not tell anyone and decided to bear it until the call to prayer!! He fainted at the time of the call to prayer, fell into a diabetic coma, and was transferred to the intensive care unit.
