SLIEDRECHT This week PostNL opened the 1000th parcel machine at Jumbo Sliedrecht Kerkbuurt. The parcel lockers make it even easier for consumers to collect and send parcels, where and when it suits them. To celebrate this milestone, consumers will find a nice surprise in the parcel locker compartments for a week when they use the machine.
“More and more consumers are using parcel lockers and experience their convenience: flexible and simple,” says Barry Husman, director of PostNL Retail. “We see that the number of parcels that consumers have collected from the parcel machine has more than doubled in the past year. We are increasingly installing parcel lockers at supermarkets, such as at Jumbo Sliedrecht Kerkbuurt. This way, consumers can not only do their shopping but also pick up or send a package at the same time. We are therefore very happy with the collaboration with Jumbo.”
“The service counter in our store is being designed in a different way,” says Ron Dielessen, Jumbo Sliedrecht Kerkbuurt branch manager. “This means shorter waiting times for our customers and means we can help them more quickly with questions and other services we offer in our store. Of course, many customers have become accustomed to the convenience of collecting and sending their packages via PostNL in our store. We are therefore pleased that PostNL is installing a parcel locker at our store, so that customers can still go here.”
Between Tuesday, April 30 and Friday, May 3, consumers will find a gift in the compartments of the parcel machine at Jumbo at Kerkbuurt 41, including a Jumbo voucher worth 25 euros. Jumbo and PostNL invite everyone to discover the convenience of the parcel locker and take advantage of the festive promotion.
