As the general strike of the Cargo Solidarity continues for the sixth day, logistical disruptions are occurring across the country.
The government and the Cargo Solidarity held a third round of negotiations for over 10 hours yesterday, but no agreement was reached.

The third round of negotiations between the Cargo Solidarity and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, which started at 11 am yesterday, broke down following more than 10 hours of negotiations.
The Cargo Solidarity criticized the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for initially proposing a plan to extend the safe freight system, but then retreated the negotiation plan to the level of ‘discussing the continuation and expansion of the safe freight system’.

“When the National Assembly is formed, the discussion (safe fare system) is automatic. We are discussing (now), but we promise another discussion.”
However, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport expressed regret, saying, “The Cargo Solidarity repeated its previous position and the dialogue was eventually stopped.”
However, both sides said they were willing to negotiate once more, leaving room for dialogue.
As the general strike of the Cargo Solidarity continues for the sixth day, logistical disruptions are occurring across the country.
The proportion of containers piled up in the port was 71.7% as of yesterday, which is an increase of regarding 6% from usual, and Incheon Port exceeded 80%.
Container import and export volume at Busan Port fell to a quarter of last month, and Pyeongtaek and Dangjin Ports dropped to 1.5%.
About 60% of ready-mixed concrete plants nationwide have stopped operating, and automobile and steel production continues to be disrupted.
Convenience store owners, etc., who wanted to bring their own alcohol, flocked to the warehouses of liquor companies.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the number of members participating in the strike is regarding 6,600, or regarding 30% of the total, of which 46 were arrested by the police on charges of obstruction of business, and 2 were arrested.
