The Texas Chain Saw Massacre llegará en 2023 a PC, PlayStation, Xbox y Game Pass

The developers Gun Interactive (Friday the 13th: The Game) and Sumo Nottingham have once more shown the game of asymmetric multiplayer horror The Texas Chain Saw Massacre in the Xbox Games Showcase Extended issued this June 14 with a trailer where it has been seen gameplay for the first time. The title will be available in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, it will be included in Xbox Game Pass y PC Game Pass since launch.

The trailer shows a gameplay similar to what we saw in the previous Gun Interactive title and in titles like Dead By Daylight: there will be a team of survivors and a player who will have to kill them, this time in the skin of Leatherfacethe terrifying villain of the Tobe Hooper film, and the rest of the familia Sawyers. The title was announced in December 2021 with a teaser thriller and since then we had had no further information.

“The community has asked, and we’re excited to answer that our partners in Sumo have been able to create a plan to take The Texas Chain Saw Massacre a Xbox One y PlayStation 4 in a way that preserves the gameplay and visual tone of the title while giving players what they’ve been asking for. It was important to us to allow all fans of the series to experience our vision for the game.” Ismael Vicens, executive producer from Gun Interactive, in a press release shared by Gematsu.

Communications director Daniel Nixon says fans of the project haven’t stopped asking regarding how it will play, adding, “We’re fortunate to be able to celebrate this news with the gameplay that our community has been eager to see and provide you with more details on when you can expect to get your hands on the game to experience it for yourself. We hope the fans are as excited for the uncut trailer as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre how are we to show it to him”.
