ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks have launched the latest Chapter in The Elder Scrolls Online saga, The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom. This new Chapter features over 30 hours of new content and introduces two new areas to explore, a brand new class to master, the Arcanist, and a sinister plot to foil to save all of reality. The chapter Necrom is already available on PC/Mac, and will be on June 20 on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Necrom continues the story started with the Game Pack Scribes of Fatebut nothing requires players to have completed the Game Pack to enjoy all that the Chapter offers.
Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha
Home to the evil mages of House Telvanni and birthplace of the city of Necrom, the Telvanni Peninsula, recognizable by its mushroom forests, might be familiar to those who have ventured to other parts of Morrowind before. This new area contains many unique encounters for players to experience, including new side quests, party bosses, lairs, public dungeons, and more.
Necrom will also allow players to explore Hermaeus Mora’s domain, Apocrypha. This mysterious region of Oblivion hides an almost infinite number of secrets, but beware… many mortals have lost their souls while evolving in these infinite libraries. Additionally, players will be able to explore a whole new part of Apocrypha, the Chroma Incognito. This new area is unlike any you’ve visited before, but like all of Apocrypha, it holds as many perils as secrets.
New playable class: The Arcanist
Necrom brings one of the most requested features, a new playable class: the Arcanist. First new class added to THAT from the Chapter Necromancer Elsweyr in 2019, the Arcanist wields the forbidden powers of Apocrypha to inflict damage, absorb attacks, and heal his allies or himself.
New Challenges, Companions and more
The Necrom Chapter also introduces a new group challenge, Edge of Madness, a 12-player Trial with a new world event, Nymic Stronghold. Necrom will also provide players with two new Companions, Nightsnap and Azandar al-Cybiades. You will be able to recruit, level up, and equip these two Companions in this new Chapter, and each will bring their own stories, combat skills, and quest lines to unlock.
