With sports performance and a track mode, the Tesla Model 3 Performance is a vehicle predisposed to the circuit. However, some owners were waiting for the release of a famous optional “track pack” to optimize performance. It is now done.
And at Tesla Model 3 Performance and its track mode were not enough for you to squeal the tires on the asphalt, the American firm has a new pack available for sale on its site to delight lovers of thrills, but you will have to put your hand in your pocket.
A track pack at nearly 6,000 euros
Recently available on the Tesla online store, the Tesla Model 3 track pack is exchanged for 5,990 euros, and is built for performance. It is made up of:
- 4 jantes 20X9.0J Zero-G performance ;
- 4 central covers with Tesla T logo;
- 20 nut covers;
- 4 pneus Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 245/35ZR20 XL ;
- 4 BLE tire pressure sensors;
- 4 high performance front brake pads;
- 4 high performance rear brake pads.
The main attraction of this package is of course the 20-inch rims, which proudly reveal the red brake calipers of the manufacturer’s Performance versions.
This track pack was available in the United States for many months, but was slow to appear in Europe. People who won this pack through Tesla’s old referral program in 2019 have just been delivered to France, more than three years after the rewards ended.
Anyway, this track pack arrives on the Old Continent very late, just when Tesla Model Y sales exceed Tesla Model 3 sales. This trend is likely to continue, since the sedan is now more expensive than the SUV, at least in its entry-level version.
It’s official, Europe currently has more than 10,000 Tesla Superchargers. A figure significantly higher than its rival Ionity.
