The Taliban rule has affected the ordinary life of the people of Afghanistan the most. The freedom of women in particular has been completely taken away. Now information regarding another cruel decision of Taliban has come out. The Taliban government has issued an order that girls cannot study beyond the third grade in Afghanistan. Earlier, girls were free to study up to 6th standard.

BBC Persia reports that the Taliban have ordered that girls over the age of 10 not be enrolled in any school beyond the third grade. 683 days ago, almost a year and a half ago, the Taliban refused to provide education to girls above the age of 11. It is also interesting to note that for regarding 223 days prior to this new order, women were prohibited from studying in the university. In the recent university entrance examination, women were not allowed to enter.

Afghan government education officials have asked schools to hold short-term training sessions to prevent girls over the age of 10 from being sent to school. Officials working in non-governmental aid organizations of the education department, who did not want to be named, told the media that the order had been received by institutions involved in literacy activities.
