The Synpics section of the Sud Communication group back in the saddle

Dakar, July 17 (APS) – The workers of the Sud Communication group (private) announce in a press release sent to APS on Sunday that they have “relaunched” their Synpics section.


The employees of this group made up of Sud FM radio and the Sud Quotidien newspaper, one of the oldest media companies in Senegal, have elected a new board to lead the union section.

The election of the office took place in the premises of Sud Quotidien, in Dakar, on Saturday July 16, according to the press release.

It took place under the supervision of representatives of the national executive office of the Union of Information and Communication Professionals of Senegal. They are Nassirou Ndiaye, the union training officer, and Massaer Dia, the Synpics external relations delegate.

”The Synpics section of the Sud Communication group (…) had fallen into lethargy in recent years”, recalls the press release.


Journalist Nando Cabral Gomis was elected general secretary of the said trade union section. El Hadji Malick Ndiaye is the deputy secretary general.

– secretary in charge of economic and financial affairs: Jean-Pierre Malou;

– secretary in charge of training: Ndèye Aminata Cissé;


– Secretary in charge of the organization: Pape Abdoulaye Dièye


– assistant secretary in charge of organization: Lamine Mbodj;


– head of the social commission: Diagne Dado Thioro Faye;


– responsible for legal affairs: Mamadou Diakhaté;


– Treasurer: Fatou Ndiaye;


– assistant treasurer: Ndèye Khady Dramé.
