Swiss sports shoe manufacturer On wants to expand massively, say their executives. They plan to hire 800 to 900 new employees worldwide this year, around 40% of them in Switzerland.
The number of employees should thus almost double, explain Marc Maurer and Martin Hoffmann in an interview broadcast on Saturday by the Schweiz am Wochenende. New stores are planned in London and Tokyo.
710 million in 2021
In Zurich, new premises, which can accommodate 1,000 employees, will house the head office of On, specify the leaders. New offices will also be opened in Portland, USA, Berlin, Germany, and Shanghai, China.
The company, created in 2010 and which has tennis star Roger Federer as an investor, generates 95% of its turnover outside Switzerland, including 50% in the United States. Net sales should reach 710 million francs in 2021.
