The Supreme Scientific Council holds its thirty-third regular session

With the permission of the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Supreme Council of Scholars, the Council will hold its thirty-third regular session on July 5 and 6 in Rabat.

The following is the text of the statement of the Supreme Scientific Council in this regard:

“With the permission of the Commander of the Faithful, our Master Mohammed VI – may God glorify his command – President of the Supreme Council of Scholars,

In implementation of the provisions of Royal Decree No. 1.03.300 issued on 2 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1425 (April 22, 2004) reorganizing the scientific councils as amended and supplemented, especially the first paragraph of Article 4 thereof;

In application of the provisions of Royal Decree No. 1.04.231 issued on 7 Muharram 1426 (February 16, 2005) approving the internal regulations of the Supreme Scientific Council, particularly Articles 5 and 6 thereof;

Decree No. 1.23.47 issued on 26 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1444 AH (June 15, 2023 AD) and Decree No. 1.23.48 issued on 26 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1444 AH (June 15, 2023 AD);

The Supreme Scientific Council will hold its regular spring session (the thirty-third session) on Friday and Saturday, 28 and 29 Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH / 05 and 06 July 2024 AD, after the afternoon prayer at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Scientific Council in the city of Irfan, Rabat.

The Council’s committees will study the issues included in the session’s agenda, which are as follows:

  1. Follow up on the organizational and scientific aspects of implementing the reporting plan;
  2. Launching the official website of the Supreme Scientific Council on the Internet, and considering the methods and approaches of work via communication platforms;
  3. Reviewing the research and studies that the Supreme Scientific Council is working on, especially the resumption of the publication of the Council’s journals;
  4. Follow-up on the plan to revive the Islamic heritage and achieve the book “Al-Shifa” by Judge Iyad;
  5. Follow-up on the work of the Scientific Fatwa Authority and the Sharia Committee for Participatory Finance.
