The Supreme Court issued a written order for judicial review of the Faizabad dharna case. The written order states that according to the Attorney General, the Ministry of Defense does not want any further action on its review application. IB, PEMRA, PTI also sought withdrawal of revision petitions through a miscellaneous petition.

According to the decree, the petitioner Sheikh Rasheed requested for more time to appoint a new lawyer, while the petitioner Ejazul Haq raised objection on paragraph number 4 of the decision. During the hearing, 4 questions related to the case were raised.

During the hearing, the question was raised as to why the revision petitions were not fixed for hearing the case despite the lapse of time. Is the decision of the constitutional and legal bodies to withdraw the revision petitions independent? Why multiple miscellaneous petitions were filed simultaneously to withdraw the revision petitions? Has Faizabad dharna case decision been implemented?

In the absence of some applicants, they are given another chance, the order said. The court observed that some people said publicly that they knew what happened. These people said that the court did not consider their point of view in the Faizabad sit-in case. This position under paragraph 17 of Faizabad Dharna Judgment is surprising to the Court.

According to the written order, the court had said in the Faizabad sit-in case verdict that any aggrieved party can come forward and submit their position in writing. The court gives one more chance to anyone who wants to bring the facts to the fore to present his affidavit in the court. Any party or any other person who wants to submit their reply should do so by October 27.

The Attorney General said that Faizabad sit-in for a limited time should not be extended to its jurisdiction. The next hearing of the case will be held on November 1.
