Raza Hayat Haraj speaking in Aaj News program “Rubro” said that two judges (Justice Aminuddin and Justice Naeem Akhtar) of the 13-member bench upheld the Peshawar High Court’s decision. The rest of the judges agreed that those who wrote PTI in their nomination papers are Tehreek-e-Insaaf members.
He further said that 11 judges ruled that the Election Commission misinterpreted the decision of the Supreme Court with the PTI election symbol. Also, 8 judges said that these members should be considered as PTI, while 3 judges said that half should be considered as PTI and half as Sunni Unity Council.
