Following a check and as a precautionary measure, Carrefour has decided to remind consumers of organic dried figs (200gr) due to an excessively high Ochratoxin A content.

It is a mycotoxin, a toxin that can form in food and is produced by different kinds of moulds.

The products have been removed from the shelves. The batches concerned bear the barcode (EAN) 5400101069527 and the expiry dates 20/06/2022, 27/06/2022, 04/07/2022, 11/07/2022 and 18/07/2022.

Customers can return the product to the point of sale, where it will be refunded.
