The Superior Council of Ulemas holds its 30th ordinary session on December 16 and 17 in Rabat

Rabat – The Superior Council of Ulemas holds, with the high approval of HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, President of the Superior Council of Ulemas, its 30th ordinary session, on Friday and Saturday 21 and 22 Jumada I of the year 1444, corresponding to December 16 and 17, 2022.

Council committees will examine the issues on the agenda for this session, said a statement from the Council.

These are the draft Ulema Charter in its new version, the adoption of the draft annual action plan for 2023 in addition to the approval of the draft budget for the 2023 financial year of the High Council of Ulemas and local councils of Ulemas, adds the same source.

The session, the work of which will begin on Friday following the prayer of Al Asr, is held in execution of Dahir n°1.03.300 of 2 rabii I 1425 (April 22, 2004) relating to the reorganization of the councils of Ulemas, as it was modified and supplemented in particular the 1st paragraph of article 4, as well as in application of the provisions of Dahir n° 1.04.231 of 7 Moharram 1426 of the Hegira (February 16, 2005), approving the rules of procedure of the Superior Council of Ulemas in particular articles 5 and 6, concludes the text.
