The Indian team’s Test series once morest Aussies will begin on February 9.
India can play the final of the World Test Championship if they win the famous four-day Test series called the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The India-Australia four-day series consists of four Test matches.
The competition will be held at Nagpur, Dharamshala, Delhi and Ahmedabad.
Indian fans are hoping that the Indian team will win the series once morest Aussies like they did once morest Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
But even if the sun rises in the west, India will not lose the series 4-0 once morest Australia, former Indian player Akash Chopra has come forward.
Akash Chopra, while talking regarding the match for Star Group, said that the Indian team will never be whitewashed once morest the Aussies.
“The sun sometimes rises in the west. But Australia will never be able to whitewash India 4-0 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. But only if God stands once morest that tragedy may happen sometimes,’ Akash Chopra said.
“I am hopeful that the Indian team will be able to qualify for the World Test Championship final by winning this series. “It may be 4-0, 3-0 or 3-1 but India will qualify,” Akash Chopra added.
“But if we can’t win by 4-0, 3-0, 3-1 margins, it will be a big problem. If India wins by 2-1, 2-0 and 1-0 margins, India’s chances will depend on the Sri Lanka-New Zealand series,’ Chopra said.
