Geoff Keighley is thinking big for this year. Ten days before the start of the festivities, the host unveiled the list of companies that will have an announcement during the show. The 2022 edition will therefore see the return of regulars of the event such as Activision, 2K, Xbox or Digital Extremes, as well as new participants such as Frost Giant Studios or Level Infinite, Tencent’s publishing label.
If the majority of the festivities will be held between June 9 and 12, there is talk of announcements throughout the coming week. Indeed, we can clearly see that the studios and publishers all position themselves more or less on this same window of media time. Sony gave an appointment on Thursday for 30 minutes of announcements on their third-party games. The Summer Game Fest will take place the following weekend, followed by the Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase on June 12. As you will have understood, the next two weeks promise to be rich in novelties and news!
