And earlier yesterday, the Saudi Hajj and Umrah clarified that the percentage of commitment to consignment exceeded 98%, according to the target number of means of transportation, which is 20 thousand buses of all modes of transport, which are frequent and traditional, in addition to using full capacity to transport pilgrims via the Holy Sites Train.
Transportation of pilgrims smoothly
And it stated that the pilgrims were transported easily and easily according to the schedule specified for that, and the pilgrims performed the noon and followingnoon prayers in Arafah, according to the organized plans for that, following they departed from the hair of Arafat to the hair of Muzdalifah smoothly according to the plans specified for them, following that they were overflowing to the hair of Mina.
She indicated that this success comes thanks to the concerted efforts of the transportation system as well as the service providers’ companies, in addition to the pilgrims’ commitment to the plans set for them.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry requires that pilgrims be transported by buses, adhere to the timetable, and the need to provide a guide for each bus, in addition to continuous coordination with the follow-up room for transporting pilgrims, so that transportation takes place according to paths designated for each center, with the aim of enabling them to perform their rituals easily and easily.
And the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, confirmed, during the press conference that was held yesterday, the early preparations for Hajj this year, by establishing a center to manage all tasks and projects in complementarity and coordination with all government sectors, saying: “We see this year the promotion and escalation plan was done with ease and ease.” The results of which appeared from an early date.

With regard to the use of smart technologies, Al-Rabiah explained: “We have developed and expanded the services of the smart card for the pilgrim, through which the pilgrims can access their locations within the shrines, and we have also cooperated with companies specialized in maps to ensure that the sites of the campaigns are reflected on the electronic systems.”
Pilgrims at Arafat
It is noteworthy that the General Authority for Statistics announced that the number of statistics of pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia and those coming from Arab countries amounted to (346,214), with a rate of (21%). As for pilgrims from Asian countries other than Arab countries, their numbers amounted to (1,056,317), with a rate of (63.5%). The number of pilgrims from African countries, excluding Arab countries, reached (221,863), with a rate of (13.4%), while the number of pilgrims from Europe, America, Australia and other unclassified countries reached (36,521), with a rate of (2.1%).
As for the methods of arrival of pilgrims from outside the Kingdom, (1,593,271) pilgrims arrived through air ports, while (60,813) pilgrims arrived through land ports, while (6831) pilgrims arrived through sea ports.
The authority indicated that the number of countries benefiting from the Makkah Road initiative reached seven countries, and the number of beneficiaries from this initiative reached (242,272) pilgrims. their immediate residence.
