The String Ensemble of the Río Negro Philharmonic performs at the Viedma Cultural Center

This Thursday, from 20, the South Atlantic String Ensemble, which is part of the Río Negro Philharmonic Orchestra; will be presented at the Municipal Center of Culture of Viedma with a varied repertoire for all tastes. The entrance will be free and free.

The concert program includes different musical periods; as Baroque, with works by Georg Telemann; classicismwith works by Luigi Boccherini; the romanticismcon Jacques Offenbach; Latin music of the 20th century with the Venezuelan composer Aldemaro Romero; and contemporary Argentine musicwith «Three pieces for 4 pampean strings», by the composer and frequent collaborator of the Philharmonic and its ensembles, Viviana Dal Santo.

Under the artistic and musical direction of Martín Fraile, the Río Negro Philharmonic is made up of 80 members and 11 regional chamber ensembles, with which it tours the entire province.

The South Atlantic String Ensemble that performs in Viedma, is made up of Yramalú Gómez, Isabel Oliveros, Gabriela Iglesias, Victoria Carranza and Jazmín Velarde on violins; Alejandro Uriarte on viola, Axel Rubiolo and Maximiliano Medina on cellos and Natacha Rutinelli on double bass.
