The striking request of 2 million people to remove Erling Haaland from the Premier League: the unusual reason

It is no mystery to anyone that Erling Haaland became one of the great figures in the current season of European football.

The Norwegian striker, since his arrival at Manchester City, has registered an impressive scoring record: 14 goals in 8 games in the Premier League, and in all competition he has accumulated 19 goals in 12 presentations.

For the same reason, the fans of the English team are jumping on one leg with the devastating performance of the former Borussia Dortmund killer, who in his entire career has converted 154 goals in 194 duels… and is only 22 years old!

However, the scoring ability does not keep everyone happy in the European country. In fact, this week it was revealed that 2 million people had signed a petition to kick Haaland out of the Premier League.

The unusual reason

The reason, according to the furious fans, is that they consider the striker to be a robot.

Of course, the requirement was removed from the platform as it was considered fun and far from reality.

It is worth mentioning that Haaland this week scored a brace in City’s 5-0 thrashing of Copenhagen in the Champions League.
