The striking images of the fault, visible to the naked eye, after the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria (VIDEO)

While the toll of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria crossed this Sunday the milestone of 30,000 dead and that it continues to grow heavier every day, these are frightening images that have been relayed on social networks.

Nearly a week following the disaster, we can see videos circulating that show how strong the earthquake was. Indeed, on these images, relayed by many international media, we can see how the two continental blocks have slid once morest each other, along the Anatolian fault. Videos shot by drones in the sky give an idea of the scale of the disaster. Below, on the border between Turkey and Syria, a canyon 30 meters deep and 200 meters wide has thus been created. A field of olive trees is therefore cut in two.

On the picture below, we can also see the movement of a railway line. In some places, the slabs moved up to 9 meters.
