This Saturday Chillán will once once more hold a free bike ride that is aimed at family physical activity to keep the population active in the sports field.

The activity is aimed at children over 4 years old to older adults and a large presence of people is expected, who have increasingly attended with their bicycles to explore the streets of Chillaneja.

The cycle route will be from the city’s Plaza de Armas to the Quilamapu Sports Complex.

It should be noted that in the sporting event, sports backpacks will be given to the participants to the first 2,000 registered to arrive on the same day of the cycle, in addition, two bicycles will be raffled among all attendees.

“We invite people to this cycle tour that is focused on everyone and the family. The event will start at 6 p.m. this Saturday in front of the Regional Government esplanade and we will pass through several streets of the city. It is a nighttime activity, we hope children, young people, parents, older adults with their pets and all the people who like to ride a bicycle, the idea is that massive spaces are used for sports activities, we want to continue focusing on that and keep people doing sports, it is a way to end the summer,” declared the Seremi of Sports, Julio Jorquera.
