Nokia announced its latest smartphone, and the phone may look ordinary in its specifications, but it has a legendary feature, as it is designed in a way that allows its users to repair the phone and install spare parts for the phone themselves.
The new phone is the Nokia G22, and it features a removable internal design, which makes it easy to remove and replace internal components, including the battery, screen, and charging port.
The company will provide original spare parts for 5 years, Adam Ferguson, marketing officer at HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia, said: “The new Nokia G22 is purposefully designed with a salvageable design so you can keep it for longer.”
The Nokia G22 comes with a completely plastic design, but it is splash and dust resistant, with a 6.5-inch screen with a resolution of 270 pixels, covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer.
The phone works with the Android 12 operating system and a 12nm UNISOC 606 processor, with 4GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal memory.
The main triple-lens rear camera has a resolution of 50, 2, and 2 megapixels, and the front is 8 megapixels, with a built-in side fingerprint.
Nokia G22 has a 5050 mAh battery with a 20W fast charger.
The phone is sold at a price of 180 euros, but its price in Egypt may exceed 6,000 pounds.
