His upbringing and artistic beginnings The artist, Saleh Al-Aweel, was born in the Sharkia Governorate on the nineteenth of March 1946, and he is now 72 years old. He previously worked as an employee in the Ministry of Industry.

But the distance from the routine of government work prompted him to dispense with his job forever following joining the first movie scene, where he stated: “I did not know whether I would be a hero and famous or not… But all I thought regarding was that I did not like al-Qaeda in offices, and until now I work for a year and 3 No, the important thing is to do something I love.”

His cinematic beginnings were through the movie “The Thief and the Dogs” in 1962 as a gas station worker, then he participated in the movie “The Shahatein Strike” in 1967 directed by Hassan Al-Imam, and then the movie “Wards and Thorns” in 1970 with Nahed Sharif and Muhammad Rushdi.

Since that time, the work of the artist, Saleh Al-Aweel, has continued, and he has participated in more than 220 artworks, and his roles have focused on embodying the personality of the thug, the gangster, the villain or the farmer and the Saidi.

It is noteworthy that the name of the artist, Saleh Al-Aweel, appeared incorrectly on some of the sequences in the form of “Saleh Al-Awaim”, such as the sequences of the movie “Ragel with Seven Spirits” and the movie “Ashch Al-Turjuman”.

He hit the leader, and regarding the memories of the artist, Saleh Al-Aweel, with the leader, Adel Imam, as they are many and uncountable, as he participated in 10 films and one series.
