The price losses on Wall Street have further increased the selling pressure on the European stock exchanges. In Frankfurt it roared DAX further down and lost 3.1 percent to 13,755 points. Of the EUROSTOXX50 gave way three percent to 3612 jobs.

After US inflation was higher than expected in May, US consumer sentiment also weakened surprisingly sharply in June. The University of Michigan US consumer sentiment index fell to 50.2 in the mid-month survey. Economists had expected a reading of 58.5.
