What is provided?
In particular, based on the provisions of the bill:
1 Those obliged to submit must obtain from AADE, banks and other competent bodies and then transfer automatically through the interoperability of the electronic application www.pothen.gr all the data they must declare. For this purpose, the type and number of data that must be transferred automatically through the above application is increased. In addition to the data of the last income tax return (E1), the data of the properties, included in the property status as these data are kept electronically in the AADE, will also be able to be transferred automatically:
* the data relating to the amount of balances of deposit accounts, payment accounts, safekeeping accounts for precious metals and coins, as well as the details of safe deposit boxes,
* the data for all-use vehicles, floating or aerial means of transport, as these data are kept electronically in the AADE and in the Vehicle Registry of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport,
* the data on participations in all kinds of companies or businesses, as these data are kept electronically in G.E.MH. (except for those relating to joint stock companies),
* the data for all types of loan obligations of the debtors who are political persons, as long as each of them exceeds the amount of 5,000 euros.
Each person obliged to submit during the data transfer process must check the correctness of the automatically pre-filled data and may, before the finalization and submission of the statement of assets (D.P.K.), modify this statement, deleting or adding entries in the fields of the relevant tables, filling in data, information, observations or clarifications in the empty fields for the existing entries. It can also post supporting documents or other information related to the above.
* Domestic and foreign financial institutions and credit institutions are obliged to transmit to the pothen.gr application all the data they have for specific assets and for the submission of both initial and annual declarations, through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and of Digital Governance (G.G.P.S.P.D.).
* For the purposes of the proposed draft law, the provisions on professional, banking and stock exchange secrecy, including the secrecy of bank deposits, are lifted for GEMH, financial organizations, and credit institutions.
2 Spouses, estranged spouses or persons with whom the debtors have entered into a cohabitation agreement are also obliged to submit a declaration of property status.
