After the fall in relations with Canada regarding the investigation of the Najar murder case, India has now received a blow from the US. The Indian team was supposed to visit America today (October 15) regarding the involvement of an Indian citizen in the conspiracy to kill the pro-Khalistan Canadian Sikh leader Gurptunat Singh Pannu.
A statement in this regard was uploaded by the US Department of State on social media platform X, but later this statement was removed. It has now been said that the Indian team will share what they have learned so far with the US authorities.
After Canada expelled Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and a few other diplomats, the US government removed the State Department post on X and sought disability for harassment.
It should be noted that Gurptunat Singh has citizenship of Canada as well as USA. A conspiracy to kill him was prepared in America. An officer of India’s secret agency was also found involved in this.
Indian national Nikhil Gupta was assigned the ‘mission’ but he was exposed. He fled to Europe to avoid arrest. US authorities traced him to the Czech Republic and extradited him on the 14th.
