The star Ragheb Alama said that he learned by chance following the death of the Lebanese musician Ihsan Al-Mundhir that he was hoping to perform the song “Every Moment and You’re Good,” which had been written by the poet Tony Abi Karam.
Alama added: “I fulfilled his wish and recorded the song and prepared it for release in honor of his soul. I confirm that Ihsan Al-Mundhir was a brother and friend, as he was keen to prepare the work to be suitable for me.”
The Lebanese artist expressed his grief over the death of singer Georges Al-Rassi, pointing out that he might not talk regarding this issue in order not to be attacked by those he described as followers of the authority, stressing that the state participates in the killing of citizens, according to his opinion.
Ragheb Alama considered that the attack he was subjected to following the crisis of his pictures with the Iraqi ambassador in Amman and his wife was due to political reasons, commenting: “We tried to limit the offensive comments by imposing the privacy of the account.”
It is reported that Ragheb Alama announced the release of the song “Every moment and you are fine.” Because of the circumstances of my travel, my preoccupation, and his illness in the recent period.”
He added: “The songwriter, poet Tony Abi Karam, told me that the late, following he composed it, wished that I sing it because, in his opinion, the only one who can convey the melody far and convey the feeling as Ihsan Al-Mundhir wants it.”
