The State Duma adopted the federal budget for 2023-2025, as amended by United Russia, in the final reading. The budget provides for an increase in funding for the social sphere by a trillion rubles. This was reported by the press service of the party.

“The budget is really difficult. The world is slowly but surely facing a global economic recession. But, while negotiating with the government, we agreed that social spending will not only not decrease, but will grow. Economic difficulties will in no way affect the social well-being of citizens, ”said Andrey Isaev, coordinator of the “Good work – prosperity at home” direction of the United Russia people’s program, deputy head of the Duma faction.

First of all, the emphasis in support will be focused on supporting families with children. For example, instead of seven separate benefits, a single one will be introduced. Isaev specified that it would be easier to issue it. This can be done through the Gosuslugi portal, a branch of the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) or the MFC. This support measure will be calculated from the property status of an individual family. That is, it will be either 50%, or 75%, or 100% of the subsistence minimum.

The minimum wage, the living wage and the average pension will also increase. Social payments and maternity capital will be indexed by almost 12%. For the first child, the payment will be 590 thousand rubles, and 780 thousand rubles for the second.

In addition, an additional 2.5 billion rubles will be allocated to education at the initiative of the party. Also, 2.7 billion rubles are allocated to the sphere of employment and employment of the population. For example, employment centers will be modernized in 17 regions of the country. United Russia will also allocate funds for the social contract. In addition to the already budgeted budget, an additional 7.5 billion rubles will be allocated. The health care budget is also growing. An additional 100 million rubles “United Russia” will allocate for the implementation of creative projects. Support for NGOs is also an important topic.

The head of the ER faction in the Kurgan Regional Duma, Marat Islamov, specified what values were included in the budget. “Incomes in 2023 are projected at the level of 59.8 billion rubles, expenses – 62.8 billion. We have traditionally included in the budget the costs of repairing educational and medical institutions, supporting villages and cities, as well as landscaping public areas. We also take into account the initiatives and proposals heard at meetings of deputies of different levels, representatives of local governments with the population,” he said.
