With the aim of providing psychological support to the heroes of the armed forces participating in the defense of the homeland’s security and its sanctities and the psychological effects of the Corona pandemic, the work of the Third Conference on Mental Health in the Military Environment was launched yesterday in Taif, organized by the General Administration of Health Services at the Ministry of Defense; Represented by the Department of Armed Forces Hospitals in the Taif region, under the supervision of the Armed Forces Center for Psychiatric Care, in the presence of the Commander of the Taif Military Region, Major General Dr. Muhammad bin Mushabab Al-Qahtani, and with the participation of a number of military and civilian leaders in the Ministry of Defense and senior specialists in psychiatry and mental health.

The conference extends for 3 days, accrediting 20 hours of continuous medical training from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and highlights (mental disorders during the Corona pandemic, addiction disorders, psychological standards and tests, psychological and social support for soldiers and their families), and through which the latest developments in the field were discussed. this field.
