The star of the series “Al Rawabi School for Girls” was diagnosed with epilepsy

The young Jordanian actress, Nour Taher, star of the series “Al Rawabi School for Girls”, which has been leading the views of the “Netflix” platform for a long time, revealed that she has epilepsy.

The artist, Nour Taher, posted on her Instagram account several photos of her from inside the hospital, and attached her to a long post in which she talked regarding the details of her illness and how it affected her over the past years, accompanied by instructions for dealing with an epilepsy patient, without being ashamed of her illness.

And Nour Taher, the 23-year-old star, decided to share with everyone her story with epilepsy, and wrote through her Instagram account: “For a long time I was healthy and found myself on the ground because I was unconscious and I did not remember any details, I was healthy, I had a headache and was unable to I look at any light, and I did not understand why any white or strong light might give me a migraine followed by an absent seizure or a seizure without convulsions and even this I did not feel.”

And Nour Taher added: “In the month of 3, I was at a party and the lighting was strong and I had successive epileptic seizures that terrified everyone around me, following which I did a lot of tests and thought that I became comfortable, until regarding last week, I started having consecutive and more dangerous epileptic seizures, and I was taken by ambulance to The intensive care unit, and I had to stay in it for 6 days… The experience was terrifying and frustrating, but I was finally diagnosed and I knew I had epilepsy.”

• Raising awareness regarding epilepsy

The young Jordanian star was keen to raise awareness and publicize regarding epilepsy to contribute to the dissemination of more information regarding this disease, so she added: “What is known regarding epilepsy is a disorder of the central nervous system (nervous) in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior. strange sensations and, most often, unconsciousness.

Nour pointed out that it is difficult to live with epilepsy, especially since it is not just temporary seizures and then recover from them naturally. And she continued, “Epilepsy is that you wake up with painful bruises in every part of your body, and you don’t remember how it hit you, which is that you have to spit blood because you bit your tongue and the soles of your mouth during the seizure, and you call it a little tired.” Nour was also keen to thank everyone who supported her. In her difficult illness, her family members and friends, whom she described as a source of reassurance, tried to understand the details and nature of her illness.

And the young Jordanian artist concluded, saying: “I cannot lie to you and say that I am optimistic and happy, but I am trying with all my heart and this is enough. If any of you is diagnosed with epilepsy, you are not alone, I want to share my story so that I am the person I needed to talk to. I have epilepsy, but epilepsy will not own me.”

Nour Taher recently caught the attention of Layan in the series “Al Rawabi School for Girls”, the first season of which was shown months ago on the Netflix platform.
