The star of the Australian midfielder withdraws before the Emirates match

The Australian national team will miss Tom Rogic, one of its most prominent midfielders, when it competes in the Asian playoffs for the 2022 World Cup.

The Socqueros will clash with our UAE national team on the 7th of this June, with the victor of the match qualifying for the international play-off once morest Peru.

The Australian Football Association said, “Rogic has informed the national team’s technical staff of the decision to withdraw from the squad before facing the Emirates.”

Rogic attributed his withdrawal to “personal reasons” that have not yet been disclosed.

Australia coach Graham Arnold lamented the 29-year-old’s decision, saying, “It is unfortunate that Rogic is unable to join the team.”

It is possible that Arnold will replace his star Rogic with his colleague Aaron Mooy to play once morest our UAE team, knowing that the latter did not play any official international matches during 2022.
