The sports field of the Vilnius Radvilų Gymnasium is open to students and communities

“Civilization is coming to the sports fields of city schools. The sports infrastructure at all educational institutions must be organized and this goal has almost been achieved. It is especially nice that the list of sports grounds to be renovated next year already includes the last large gymnasiums and pro-gymnasiums and even 9 primary schools. I am asking the residents and schoolchildren to use the newly renovated playgrounds, protect the surfaces and do sports as much as possible,” said Donalda Meiželytė, Vice Mayor of the Vilnius City Municipality, at the opening ceremony of the Radvilų Gymnasium playground.

The renovation works of the Radvilai Gymnasium field cost 695 thousand. Eur.

During this summer and the beginning of autumn, the Vilnius city municipality renovated 20 more school sports fields: at the “Atgaja” special school, Aleksander Puškin, “Žara”, “Santara”, V. Kačialov, Žvērynos, “Minties”, Fabijoniškiu, Abraham Kulvietis, Jonas Basanavičius , Grigiškii and Grigiškii “Šviesa” high schools, Naujamiestis and Liepkalnis schools, Barbora Radvilaitė, Simon Stanevičius and Naujininkai pro-gymnasiums, Vytė Nemunėlis primary school.

In October, the outdoor courts of Kunigaičštės Gediminas pro-gymnasium and VGTU engineering lyceum will be completed.

The universal outdoor sports grounds have also been renovated in 11 kindergartens: “Gintarėlis”, “Vilija”, “Gelvonėlis”, “Prie Pasakų parko”, “Skroblinukas”, “Šilelis”, “Lukiukas”, “Pipiras”, Markučiņu, Vaduvos, Vilkpėdės. .
