On Friday August 25, in partnership with the Center for Art and Photography in Lectoure and the Le Sénéchal cinema, director Baba Hillman presented three of her films: “Decroux’s Garden”, “5 cité de la roquette” and “Kitâb al-Isfâr: Book of the Journey”, which were linked to the themes of the annual edition of Photographic Summer: “The spirit of place, memory and the spiritual quest”. It was a great session at the Le Sénéchal cinema, with a fascinating conversation between the public, the director, and Damarice Amao, the curator, on many subjects, including the love for the specific capacities of film film, the fight for save these formats, and the inspirations for the three films that were screened. Director Baba Hillman also talked regarding a new film she is finishing, on a poem by Marseille poet Franck André Jamme, as well as a film she has just started on the gardens of Lectoure.
