The CEO of the American spacecraft Company, Elon Musk, is working on the establishment of high-speed internet services globally, called the ” space internet, “but why do these future services associate with the word” space?”.
This is due to its connection to outer space, where “Musk” works on the launch of the internet from satellites to earth, and already succeeded in launching the project last October.
The project “r VL” reached more than 100 thousand users for 9 99 around the world, the service is available in many countries such as the northern United States of America, southern Canada and the United Kingdom, in addition to Australia, New Zealand and Mexico, and other countries are demanding for the service such as Spain, Italy, India, Japan and others.
The test of the pilot project, known as “r E.”, has been successful with people living in remote areas of the north of the United States, but the company still receives its improvements and development of the space project, even a few obstacles, announced by the satellite manufacturer, hours ago.
SpaceX said that up to 40 satellites out of 49 satellites, launched last week, will be affected by a geomagnetic storm, following the company’s launch of satellites in low Earth orbit, last week, from the “Kennedy” Space Center in Florida, the company expects to burn 80% of them instead of reaching its intended orbit.
She explained in a statement, according to the British newspaper “Garian”: “unfortunately, the satellites deployed on Thursday were significantly affected by a geomagnetic storm on Friday.. These storms cause atmospheric warming and increase atmospheric density at low propagation altitudes”.
The speed and intensity of the storm caused “atmospheric resistance” to the arrival of satellites, and increased by up to 50 percent compared to previous storms, the company said. The”Guardian” reported that geomagnetic storms are the result of interactions between the solar wind (a stream of charged particles from the sun and the Earth’s magnetic field).
Although the satellites reached orders to “shelter from the storm” by flying away, they failed to perform the maneuvers required to reach their desired orbit. “Up to 40 satellites will enter the Earth’s atmosphere once more,”the company said.
Are satellites doing damage
The British newspaper “The Guardian” indicates that there is no damage to the satellites returning to Earth, where the artificial satellites “Starlink” designed to disintegrate when they enter the Earth’s atmosphere once more “which means no orbital debris or impact any parts of the satellite to the Earth,” and the damage is limited to the disruption of the mission.
“X space” has already launched 2,000 satellites within the “space internetr” project and the company has permission from the US authorities to send up to a total of 12,000 satellites into space.
The project faced objections and caused concerns from astronomers, who worried that the clumping of tens of thousands of satellites might spoil the night sky and hinder scientists ‘ ability to study the universe.
Josef Aschbacher, head of the European Space Agency, said last December that Musk called for “coordinated action” with the European Union to ensure that the launch of many SpaceX satellites would not prevent other countries from launching their satellites.
In the same month, China accused the United States of ignoring international treaty obligations “not to encounter satellites from China and the United States in space,” and failed to materialize as the Chinese space station was forced to maneuver to avoid collision with Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites.
Features of internet services “r onl “for users
The company aimed to increase the number of satellites from more than 1,200 satellites at the moment to 42,000 satellites in orbit by mid-2027, the space company launched the first batch of Starlink satellites in orbit in May 2019, and the satellites are attached at the top of the rocket “Falcon 9” owned by SpaceX, and are launched into orbit.
In each launch, regarding 60 satellites are sent into space, perhaps the goal is to create a high-speed broadband system created by satellites that envelop the Earth and provide internet to people especially in rural areas offline.
Last October, the company said during an e-mail to subscribers in the “r INL “that it must be expected Internet speeds ranging from 50 to 150 megabytes per second, while the fastest download speed reached now 209.17 megabits per second, in the US state of New York.
